This grade serves as the bridge to Youth football, moving to a larger 9v9 format. At this level, teams play on a larger pitch where they transition from junior skills to youth-level tactical awareness.

Our Academy Teams are operated by FC Tauranga Moana and compete in different leagues to

Starts: First Saturday of Term 2
When: Saturday mornings (Term 2 & 3) from 9:00 AM.
Home Ground: Macville Park (away games at opposition grounds).
Format: 9v9, including a goalkeeper.
Ball Size: Size 4.
Offsides: Yes, active from the halfway line.
Substitutions: Rolling substitutes are used.
Results: Recorded for grading purposes only; no formal league tables.
🕒 GAME DAYS
Fixtures: Available on the WaiBOP website.
Duration: 60 - 70 mins (2 x 30 - 35 min halves)
